Google Research has discussed methods for keeping AI on the straight and narrow in the past, and now the company has released a research paper outlining areas that are minor problems today, but will need more attention as AI technologies become more advanced and ubiquitous.

Much study has focused on the effects these rising carbon dioxide levels could have on weather patterns and global temperatures, but could elevated atmospheric CO2 levels negatively affect the nutritional value of the food we grow?

In all likelihood it will be the second and third order effects that cause the most damage. A key quote from the article: "Essentially, as the carb content rose, the mineral content dropped, making the plant less nutritionally valuable to humans as food.."  JB
