Some of the tips were good and on point - like no grammer/spelling mistakes. Some were just silly - like using too big/complex words.
The one point I took a major exception to was the recommendation not to put personal contact information on your resume. Want to make sure I throw you resume into the trash, then go right ahead and make it difficult for me to contact you. Leave your phone number off the resume and I'll start wondering what you're hiding.
Why on earth would recruiters hate the fact that you made it easy for them to contact you?
